As one important part of concrete batching plant, cement silo needs the special maintenance work, because it works outside for a long time. In winter, it is very cold, we should take better care about the cement silo and do some maintenance works for it.
1. The method to keep the aggregate silo warm within the cement warehouse is mainly to build the insulating shed. And the shed height should satisfy the loader’s feeding condition.
2. To keep the belt machine warm is mainly to cover it with the heat preservation cotton or thermal blanket and prevent the heat loss of the sand.
3. As the main engine of the mixer is fixed in the building, when winter comes, the operator should ensure the mixing building closed and sealed tightly all around, and adopt the heating pipes of 2kw within the building to keep it warm, and the number of the fixed pipe depends on the temperature(or install the radiator)
4. It is likely to get frozen in the place of the cement warehouse equipment such as the water supply system, discharging gate, cylinder, and mixing blade, under the condition of the low temperature in the cold region. And each water (gas) conveying tunnel is also inclined to cause the ice blockade.
